Good to GO!!!
Since listening to the JOCKO podcast for quite some time now it has been a hot dose of much needed perspective. From the guest to the overall subject matter of the podcast it hits the very core strings of the SOUL!!. As a veteran myself listening to JOCKO podcast gives me the much needed motivation to engage the issues I face and use that motivation to the best of my abilities to keep me going. Leadership is something that is earned not given and JOCKO/ the JOCKO podcast definitely surpass that mark. A highly enlightening podcast to sit and listen too when we all just need that kick to as JOCKO puts it GET AFTER IT !!!!. Semper fi.Stephen L.
Great podcast (as usual).
Very timely guest and subject. Well done!
Great Show
Jocko rocks. Great info. Good guests. The earlier podcasts that were explorations of great military books are worth a listen.
Good
The show is amazing. Most of the stories almost seem unreal for how intense they get. Which is a miracle the person was able to write it down and pass the knowledge down or be there to discuss it. It can be hard not to get chocked up hearing these stories. Look forward to them every week. The guidance is Life Changing.
Needs no introduction
This is an excellent, top-quality podcast. Listen to all of them.

Don’t even bother to listen unless you wanna GET AFTER IT
Important Podcast!
Jocko Podcast brings important stories to the masses! Some of the folks have already passed away so the fact that we have their stories on demand is historically significant! As a younger man I had no clue about SOG, now I have gone down the rabbit hole to learn more! Thank you for all you do Jocko!!

Jocko Energy Drinks
Hey Commander. I finished listening to your episode on Drago a while back. By the way Ooxxsss. I was inspired to subscribe to the drinks on Amazon. Because Ooxxs said it remind him of little candy’s From the Old Country I said let’s give it a try. It did everything it was supposed to do. I was Alert. And aware of my surroundings on a four hours hold over. But didn’t like the flavor I selected. Is it possible to offer a E sampler package. This way I can go through all the flavors and sick to one I like. I shared the other cans with work buddies and they said they are on board on grabbing a more Healthy alternative than what is on there. Thanks Again Team Mate.
Awesome on many levels!
Great usage of history and experience in war to understand people through the extremes that war creates. These principles apply to most interactions, from war to parenting, from BJJ to leadership. One of your podcasts with Dr Peterson helped me understand “the why” behind feedback. I’ve struggled with positive feedback, but understanding that employees work best while confident, but not cocky. This solidified how you have to adjust feedback to modulate your employees’ confidence. Giving two separate employees very different feedback on similar performance.Highly recommend for:War historyLeadershipBJJParentingAnyone who interacts with people.Get some!
Admiral McRaven: the best so far

The Real Charlie Sheen
The most important episode discussing the shaping of the future of Navy SEALS is Episode 292 in which Admiral Maguire reveals the move Navy SEALS was based on his excursions into Beirut.
Fantastic and Life Changing
This podcast doesn't shy away from saying what needs to be said. These stories need to be heard and this is the perfect format for it. Thanks Jocko and Echo.
A national treasure
I’m a pretty ordinary female civilian, and this podcast has quickly become a favorite. As an avid nonfiction reader, especially about war history, this podcast provides much-needed and appreciated perspective on the military experience, both past and present—it’s living history. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and have been in awe of the stories shared here. As someone working in the corporate world, there are also countless leadership lessons to learn. I love the long format—the longer the better, as a matter of fact—because they keep me engaged during any number of tasks throughout the day. Thank you, Jocko and Echo, for this stellar experience. One request: I’ve started to donate to veterans charities and it’d be great to see a list of all of the charities your guests are a part of and that you recommend for quick reference when I go to donate, similar to your list of books featured on the show.
Good people
🤙🙌Much appreciated, Mike Glover and Jocko found themselves in the same room!
Jocko=Good
As a guy trying to find his way towards being a better husband, father, leader this podcast has become an absolute go to. Every episode has at least one take home lesson that can be applied, for your betterment, in the next 24-48 hours. A recent podcast touched on PTSD and I had a patient a week later that was experiencing her own PTSD after being attacked by a dog. As a surgeon I usually just sew people back together and make sure their wounds heal. With her, I was able to see the psychological wounds and help her start to process those feeling/emotions/inner voices and try to aid her in a complete recovery. I also get a lot out of Jocko’s consistency. Staying “on the path” requires consistent messaging that reminds us to make the right decisions everyday. There are no shortcuts or life hacks. There is only dedication to the work and your own self-improvement.The guests have amazing stories and life lessons that we can all learn from. Appreciate all that Jocko and his team do. Keep up the good work guys.
YES
This material and the way it’s presented has helped improve my life as well as allowed me to to gain a more valuable perception. Thank you Jocko and team!
Really enjoying the Vietnam veteran interviews!
Thank you for the outstanding interviews with the Seawolf pilots, SOG green beret, and other Vietnam vets. It was a Marine sniper that served in Vietnam who inspired me as a young kid to later enlist in the Marine Corps. Love hearing the stories of that generation. Thanks again Jocko!
America
Such a great feeling knowing we still have people like you in America.
