Awesomeness
This pod is GOOD!!
I’m really grateful for you guys!
I’m 27 years old and I have struggled with heroine and meth addiction since I was a teenager. I have some diagnosed mental illness and these two things have made my life very difficult. I’ve been clean for almost 3 years now. I heard Jocko for the first time a few years ago and my first thought was I could never be that disciplined. However over the last few years I have been growing a lot thanks to you and your understanding of self discipline and simple and profound practical wisdom through experience! I’m married now and my wife and I have a beautiful baby boy that’s 1 and half. I’m still a work in progress and I fall short a lot, but I get up and get back on the path! Thank you for your service and for sharing yourself and your hard earned wisdom, it’s definitely helped me become more of the man I want to be and I’m just getting started!
Marcus and Amber Capone
Such an important topic and these guys are doing Gods work. More exposure is needed, they need to get this information in front of Joe Rogan’s audience and anyone else that will listen. Great episode.
Echo podcast??
Can Echo Charles have his own podcast or at least an episode? I was thinking how funny it would be in the opening to hear “This is the Echo Podcast with Jocko Willink and me, Echo Charles. Good evening Jocko.”
Great guidance
This podcast is giving me such good guidance and positive energy; it’s invaluable! It is guiding me out of some dark patches in my life, boosting my self-knowledge and self-discipline. Thank you!
MAC V SOG casts are too humbling
God bless you for putting these veterans and their stories out there. You’ve out done yourself and provided a platform for these guys to share their experiences.

Mustang aircraft
I loved the interview with the WW2 fighter ace . His rise from humble beginnings to being a bird colonel was amazing as was his life . As a British immigrant I can say only I’m the USA is such a rise possible . Kudos to him . The Mustang was indeed and a game changer and as Goering stated when he saw the first ones appear over Berlin . Escorting the bomber force . “ that was the day I knew we had lost the war “ The only thing I would add is the Mustang had the British Merlin engine . The same as the Spitfire . That change of engines from the original was the game changer A US designed aircraft frame and weaponry with a British designed engine Great aircraft designed and improved be great Allie’s As an old paratrooper I’m loving your podcast . As most former soldiers would
Nobody does it better
Just as the title says.. I listen to some awesome pod casts, but jocko does it like nobody else. The level of respect you have for soo many of the people and their stories, and because of this, I love the interactions. Stories that need to told, and the perfect set of people to do it!
The best podcast
Jocko is the Goat hands down. Echo you seem cool too. This podcast is the best. Thank you for making it.
Finally…
I started downloading this podcast just ahead of Covid, and never got to it until this month. Episodes are too long, I told myself. Excuses are gone now. I’m years behind but I’m starting from the beginning and consuming it all. Consumed in total or in short bits, the uncommon common sense (one of Jocko’s superpowers) and the call to action (not just listen) is what I’ve needed for a long time. Bravo, gents, and thank you for your service to protect freedom.
Some are a little long.
I like the podcast when under an hour. When I see that some are 2+ hours i wonder who has that kind of time. I do like the applications to everyday life. A great to podcast overall.
Best podcast out there
I listen to a lot of podcasts but Jocko’s is by far the best one out there.

Life Changing!
I recently discovered podcasts at the tender age of 61. I've always been driven. I started a successful business at 25 years old after working in my industry for 5 years (no college). I’m now a national speaker in my industry. I started weight lifting at the same time after becoming obsessed with fitness and nutrition at age 12 (lost 18 lbs at that time). Taught fitness classes on top of my career. The point being it's hard to put a lid on one's ego when you’ve always been getting after it. Jocko made me realize my ego has prevented both personal and professional progress. My knowledge on fitness and nutrition pretty much stopped when I felt like I knew it all (about when Paleo first came on the scene). I've been complacent in my workouts for years because I don't have weight loss goals. I love working really late and getting up really late with 8-9 hours of sleep. A host of things that have kept me stagnant. Things that are in my control. Then a series of events happened to my health (stemming from mold) that put me down a lifestyle podcast rabbit hole that brought me to Jocko (thanks Mikhaila). Jocko’s the one. The one I need to challenge me to question everything in my life. To remind me soft I’ve gotten. I literally cancelled cable, stop reading romance novels (don’t judge), go to bed earlier/get up earlier with less sleep, hit the gym (or fitness room) on days I would normally skip (sometimes), prioritize and execute tasks after being a master procrastinator and have a ‘get after it’ attitude. This is after 3 weeks of listening., imagine what will happen when I get caught up! I’m sure he is not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you have even a modicum of toughness in your soul, even if it’s laying dormant, Jocko will bring it to life. Now prioritize and listen to this podcast.
A Few Bad Men
Jacko, could you please interview Marine Major Fred Galvin. His story is amazing and I know you would do an amazing job interviewing him. Keep up the great work. Dan
Deadlifting
Started listening to JOCKO years ago and immediately grew 6 inches (both down there and up here). I bought the JOCKO WHITE TEA from the JOCKO STORE and got my testosterone tested the next day only to find that my T and DHT levels were literally off the charts. They wanted to test my blood but when inserting the needle into my arm it simply broke in half. I went home and drank another cup of JOCKO WHITE TEA and was feeling wild so I shotgunned a JOCKO GO HEALTHY ENERGY DRINK too. Went to the gym and had to take every plate from every rack in order to max out my deadlift. 9000 pounds can you believe that? As I walked out of the gym 3 girls had to be rushed to the ER after making eye contact with me. GO get some JOCKO WHITE TEA. RESULTS ARE GUARANTEED.
You know it’s going to be a good one…
When you hear “Good evening, Echo.” “Good evening.”
Rest day question
What Type Of Ice-cream do you recommend to wind down after a long week for a cheat meal on a day off. JB
Unspoken Amazing Courage
Jocko I am a non military listener in Australia. I have just finished listening to episodes 180 through to 182 with John Stryker Meyer. Also episode 63 with Colonel William Reeder. At many points through these podcasts I was left speechless at the raw courage these soldiers had, it also stirred many emotions of gratitude to these soldiers and to all who fight to ensure our freedoms. There was also sadness that in this day and age we take our freedom for granted. We can never forget the courage soldiers such as this. Thank you Jocko for ensuring their stories are told and we do not forget. It is also amazing the lessons we can apply to our everyday lives from these heroic stories. As an example the 8 points to survival in a prisoner of war camp are lessons that I will not forget when times get tough Ferntree Gully
This is gold. Thanks Jocko!
I recently came across this podcast and have watched a couple of episodes. I’ve found invaluable learning lessons and great inspiration from Jocko’s experiences. I am looking forward to watching the rest of the 300 episodes. Thank you sir!
A must listen
The world needs more Jocko. I think Jocko brings a rare blend of amazing story telling, insights, knowledge and simply amazing guests. If I were a history teacher I’d be assigning this as listening for discussion about important events. I’ve learned a lot from this podcast. Thanks!
