The best podcast I’ve listened too. Really well prepared for, comparable to maybe Tim Ferriss or Joe Rogan but with a focus towards warfare and the history and experiences of elite soldiers. The episodes on Tony Herbert, David Hackworth and the Vietnam SOG Teams were the best for me so far. Every episode is very professional with a clear structure from Jocko and Echo is pretty funny.

5 stars & this podcast literally gives me perspective and inner peace! Each show offers insights to life’s challenges. Ordered a book recommended and the Jocko fuel is nothing to sneeze at❤️

This is one of the most useful podcast series I’ve ever listened to. I’ve toured Gettysburg and other battlefields, but this goes in to chronological order- how the leaders were thinking, decision-making process, logistics. High impact, thought-provoking. A must listen for any military leader.

Loved the excursion. Luckily for me, I had a lot of driving the past week that allowed me to whip through them all.

Had a chance to walk Gettysburg with these gentlemen and it was amazing. The civil war series offers amazing perspectives of history and leadership- JD has amazing perspective and depth of knowledge. I look forward to future episodes.

Jocko is a special kind of human. Motivational and helpful. He gives me hope he gives me clarity he is a hero. Physically absolutely but more importantly philosophically. You need more Jocko in your life, we all do. God Bless Jocko.

i love this podcast because i am the youngest of 2 vets in my immediate family. i love the discipline and i love the info.

This is quite possibly the best podcast. I found when I run out of new episodes I constantly go back and listen to old ones I love the new update on the Civil War. Hopefully they can keep this up for a long time would 100% recommend this podcast.

Love Jocko’s interviews. Being a history buff some of my favorite is the back and forth with Jocko and JD about the civil war.

As I understand it, one of the sins of broadcasting is “dead air” - any period of time where something isn’t being sent to the listener or viewer. Jocko edits none of it out. And some of the most powerful moments on this cast are when he allows the words being spoken or read to hang in the silence. To allow the listener a chance to absorb and contemplate what they just heard. And if you look at his lineup of guests and the gravity of subjects he chooses to address, it’s no wonder that those moments of silence carry so much weight. Thank you for your service, sir, and your continued service in bringing these people and their stories to your listeners.

Listen to this every day and it’s basically a psy-op to turn yourself into a highly disciplined hard working individual. Great way to acquire leadership skills as well, regardless if you are in a leadership position or not. Couldn’t recommend enough… changed my life.
