Jocko, aside from being an incredible motivator and source of inspiration, connects me to the things my grandfathers and uncles experienced in war. Descriptions and readings of books from WWII, Vietnam and Korea, give me a sense and an idea of what my family members went through that they couldn’t fully explain. It’s depended my love for them. Thank you.

Regardless of your political affiliation, military or non, wherever you are in life; the lessons from Jocko and his guests are monumental. Especially in regards to discipline and accountability/responsibility. Not to mention every episode is hilarious, intense, gut wrenching, emotional, saddening, etc. Truly a roller-coaster ride. Never a dull moment.

Everytime I listen to this podcast it gives me an intense feeling of motivation. Podcasts don’t get better than this one folks. Get after it!

Everybody’s all excited when Jocko releases a new episode. 5 hour long podcasts aren’t long enough!! The only podcast I’m subscribed too (besides Huberman Lab) and the only one I really care about. Love to see it

After listening to Jocko on Joe Rogan Podcast there was something that drawed me to him and for good reason! Being from Ireland the media tends to tarnish the US Army and their role over in the Middle East, after listening to these guys stories along with Tim Kennedy it has given me a completely different outlook. If it wasn’t for strong men like these guys who keep terror in check the world would be in a lot worse of shape. Although I’m not from the US, I have a strong respect for all US troops not just fighting to keep their country safe but also the smaller countries such as ourselves. Even though I have never met Jocko, he truly is my mentor, from his books to his podcasts he teaches you how to be a better person, a stronger person, it’s not just about war or leadership, it’s about how to conduct yourself in life ! Thanks Jocko & Echo for setting this free source up, when ever I feel myself slipping I use this podcast to keep me in check! Thanks again, Keep getting after it!! Fergal

Jocko is such a decorative story teller, and had a relaxing yet rugged manner. Can’t think of anything better to listen to while going to bed, on the way to work, or while doing yard work.

So I’m not a Jocko fanboy. I’m not interested in most of his business and leadership lessons. But I was curious to hear this thoughts on the Uvalde school shooting. I have a lot of respect for his expertise and wisdom when it come to tactical response, training and security. If you think “we must do something” I suggest listening to this episode. One “something” to be done becomes quite obvious, pragmatic and essential. Jocko delivered on this.
