Excellent
Jocko’s words of wisdom and perspective has had a profound and positive effect on my mindset. Great work

POWERFUL
Amazing life insight and guidance, ownership for the win
Love this podcast, transformed my life, read the extreme ownership book, got the field manual and listen to this podcast. Have learned so much about ownership and discipline from one of the smartest and intellectual leaders, with amazing real world experience that benefits everyone. Not just for the soldier and jujitsu player, suitable for everyone. Much thanks to Jocko, Echo and their guests
Brilliant
Love this podcast listened to 5 and a bit hours my first day, Go Get Some... Check.
Brilliant
Excellent podcast. Episodes seemed long at first but never gets boring. Great assortment of guests, awe-inspiring war stories and always tying it into how it applies to civilian life in general. Love the Q&A’s too. Also good chemistry between Jocko and Echo. Keep getting after it!
Jocko is a role model
His wisdom is golden . I think this podcast shifts your whole mindset and psychology in a powerful direction . I listen because of the repetition of his message , just slowly trying to sink his way of thinking into mine . Amazing human being . Listen to this with joe rogan and you will change your life .
Discipline, wisdom and debate me bro.
Jocko is a fount of wise points and a great source of motivation, the guy gets me hyped to get/keep my life in order. It is also amazing to listen to a man talk for hundreds of hours all the while avoiding a fight with Sam Harris, we all know you'd win a debate Jocko, we want to see a physical throw down.
Team Zissou Approved
I have something to share with you all. Simply by listening to Jocko and Echo once a week I have started to gain astonishing abilities. In addition to the added musculature (which is guaranteed after the first listen), my night vision has improved by 250%, I can now run 80km with ease, and I can hear bats echolocating. Additionally, I was recently awarded my PhD... in getting after it. All of these benefits can be directly attributed to one thing: listening to Jocko Podcast. Get some.
Jocko and Echo
You guys make me laugh! And then you guys make me think and want to work harder and dump the excuses. Jocko keep up the books, podcasts and the warrior kid work. I think you help make people better and that makes society better. And the Hawaiian hoodie bit was hilarious Echo
Interesting history lesson and life lessons
I came across this via recommendation from mentors and friends pleased I did. Now just bought extreme ownership and discipline equals freedom it all makes so much sense
Great Podcast
Great Podcast.....although too much pushing of their own products. I just listed to a great podcast coveting some great stuff but then 30 mins of the guys basically pushing their own products...too much.
Life coach extraordinaire!
Really interesting, knowledgeable conversation! Echo is a brilliant “robin” to jocko’s “Batman”.
Listen to this if you are a human
No human alive should be allowed to walk around with out subscribing to the Jocko philosophy. Want to hang out with one of the most successful humans of all time? I do everyday, he sits next to me while I drive, while I train and when I walk. My results are in complete relation to the fact. They say you become the average of the 5 people you hang out with. This was tough to put into practice a few years ago.... not anymore. Get after it!!!
GET SOME!!!!
Simple genius! Why Simple? The formula: DISCIPLINE = FREEDOM...we all know it! But we are weak! Why Genius? Because IT DOES! Get Jocko in your head and you will destroy the weakness (because it’s weak and you are STRONG!) and achieve mastery of your own will! That is the road to FREEDOM. As my 8yr old Warrior Kid says: “BOOM! GET SOME!” Hell yeah! 😈
Outstanding
This is a captivating podcast from start to finish on every single episode, Jocko & Echo put so much time and passion into this and the effort has not gone unnoticed, you and your guests are inspiring keep up the great work looking forward to future episodes, BTF !
Every teacher should be listening
The gospel according to Jocko and Echo has transformed me from an arrogant and sluggish teacher to someone with determination, direction and the ability to GET AFTER IT! Asked to take on extra teaching responsibilities…GOOD, the more kids I can help and motivate the better. Poor behaviour in class…GOOD – opportunity adapt teaching to keep class engaged. School inspection next week…GOOD – a chance to find ways that we can improve as a team and better the learning and teaching for the students. Caught up with all 128 episodes…GOOD – start again from episode 1! This podcast has helped me towards two promotions in a job I used to despise and has given me direction to improve my overall health, mental state and to become a better role model to my son. Can’t thank you both enough.
Moral Compass
The Jocko podcast provides simply explained approaches to life, which echo a surprising range of ideas present in modern academic thinking and stoicism: Humility, discipline, weakness, calmness, detachment, work. Not often comedic, but a refreshing antidote to the positive thinking “motivation conquers all” riff.
Very special podcast
This is an exceptional podcast. The stories of the older war vets are very telling and offer a unique view of each of their experiences. On a side note I would however place extreme caution on the glorification of war within the conversation. This seems present mostly from the younger men. And all politics aside please remember that war is a terrible endeavour.
Dang
This podcast has taught me lessons that I take to work, drives me to move up the promotional ladder and has helped me become a better partner/parent
Legit
Look forward to this podcast every Wednesday because I know it will be “good” .Long cast is best . Longer the better .Truly love hearing these life stories of lessons learned from the front line of the battle field by these warriors . Being able to hear from a guy first hand who served in WW2, Korea and Vietnam is hard to fathom . What a privledge . My wish list would be for Jocko to interview one of the “Phantoms of the jungle “ .. one of the Australian SAS troopers that Roger Heydon mentioned when he served in Vietnam . Regards Nathan
Powerful stuff
This is the real deal right here - pure inspiration for life. I listen to this podcast on my commute and it makes me so happy when I hear these gunners describe their experiences in war and walking the path. What I’m looking forward to now is putting the krill oil and joint warfare to the test since jiu jitsu (which you guys inspired me to start) has wreaked havoc on every part of my body imaginable. It’s been worth it though - I’m high on life after each class and stoked when I look around at my formidable new family. Thank you sensei Altemar at Bellegarde Dragons. And thank you Jocko and Echo for keeping things legit. Osss!
Good.
This is the only podcast where I take notes regularly, because there is so much quality content in every episode. Jocko drops bombs every time he speaks. Echo is the chill, relateable non-military guy keeping it together behind the scenes. I'm up to ep. 52 now and it just gets better. Thank you gents for delivering a top quality show every time.
Hard positive truths
Highly recommended, to the point, food for thought giving you the drive to improve. Thanks.
