Reached Episode 50!
Thanks for an awesome podcast. I just reached episode 50 and I can’t wait to reach 240! There is so much information within each podcast. Keep bringing it Jocko and Echo. A Canadian fan.
Warning: listening to this may mesmerise you into starting jui jujitsu!
Actually this is wrong title as it may make you imagine this podcast isn’t for you. Jocko with Echo’s help takes us on a journey into some of the darkest aspects of our humanity. Terrifyingly confronting at times.... I don’t have the words to express the dichotomy of emotions this incisive, gritty and powerful podcast emits. Have a listen for yourself Despite the darkness the light of goodness and love for our fellow man shines through Thank you Jocko Sir and Echo for helping us all to keep on the path. Kudos to you both
The best podcast on leadership and bettering oneself
This podcast is ‘literally’ the most effective in helping me stay on the path. Also, I just replayed ep 215 and cried laughing at jocko’s convos with an ego driven person. Factually hilarious!

The ultimate alpha male but without the narcissism
I am new to Jocko but I can not over state how much I love this series . Jocko is a great communicator and does so with the perfect combination of keeping the listener engaged but in a relaxed way . Echo usually adds a similar view to Jocko on a given subject but in a different way , which really works I believe . With a massive back catalogue of experiences and anecdotes , the message is pushed home just that little bit harder . Jocko is a man that a lot of people can aspire to be inspired by . The ultimate alpha male but with humility and without the self centred narcissism that often comes with that . I look forward to hopefully years of happy listening .
A life changing Podcast
Being accompanied by Jocko‘s and Echo‘s voices for more than 1.5 years now, I can truly admit that this Podcast changed my life in a way I would have never expected. The Podcast itself evolved over time, and so did I. Thank you for These unique moments - my personal favourite at the moment is the one with Kyle Carpenter, also reading his book „You are worth it“- just unbelievable.
BEST
CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH: BEST PODCAST EVER
Listen only if you want your life to change...
I listened to. Jocko and Echo back in 2017 while doing my daily run in the south of France. Chechens and Russians torturing each other in indescribable ways. Essentially dark readings from the Rwandan genocide perpetrators. And the insistent, inspiring, cathartic exhortation to "get after it" - whatever that may mean for the listener. (This led to my best season's running for years.) But "bless me father for I have sinned...it has been 3 years since my last..Jocko podcast." I am now making up for lost time while training on my bike and my life is already changing. Weights early in the morning? Check. 4am? - not check (yet). Dreams that you've been slacking off on? - actioned? - Check. Completed, no. Begun? Check. Have you started slacking off on yourself? You need this podcast. Do you find yourself with dreams that you do nothing about? You need this podcast. Do you need to be inspired to be honest with yourself, your ego, your reactions, your relationships? You need this podcast. It is your Sunday sermon, your searing reality check - with benefits for those around you, as you serve them through discipline in the little things of daily life. Echo is hilarious and insightful, the good cop to his partner's bad cop. Even his product recommendations will have you hooked. And sometimes - just sometimes - he stands up to The Man. Jocko? To say of him, as has been said of Tony Robbins, "he is a force of nature" - seeks to express the impact this gentle, funny, wise and humble "psycho-looking" (his own words) warrior-leader will have on you. I am incredibly grateful for this podcast and especially for the way it can wake you up if you have recently dozed off in this shared experience of life we have the privilege to be part of.
Excellent podcast except for Echo Charles.
Without a doubt one of the most valuable and inspiring podcasts in existence, but the co-host really detracts from the intellectual value of what Jocko says, and frequently details otherwise insightful dialogue. Please remove Echo Charles.
The best and only podcast you need.
This should replace all your entertainment. There is something for everyone. It has real-world stories - far more instructive and poignant than any fiction. Accounts of war, human difficulty, failure, perseverance and excellence. It deals head on with the complex realities of human existence (LIFE). It also deals, at times, with death. But what sets it apart from other podcasts is how it deals with these accounts - it structures them as learning moments. Jocko, (Echo) and guests leverage their insight to understand the accounts they present as lessons for you to apply and directly improve your life. In doing so they cross the all-too neglected divide between thoughts and actions. Why not be entertained by incredible stories and learn from real experiences how to improve your life. Look no further than Jocko Podcast.
Great
I started my BJJ journey 3 years ago based on listening to this podcast. Loved both BJJ and the podcast. It’s great to hear about some of the amazing things that people have done.
Change from the inside... Make it happen
You might not know this... but deep down you I know you know this.... You are falling short, you are missing the mark and you are only a fraction of what you could be. this podcast reminds me of that and shows me a path to recover and succeed in all areas of life. Listening in from Australia, Thank you!
Story-time (with a vengeance)
Disguised as a human, a cyborg assassin known as a JOCKO travels from 2029 to 1984 to kill unmotivated space-fillers. All killer, no filler.

Also trying to read all the new books I’ve brought since I started listening. Getting after it!! Keep up the brilliant work👊👊
No Factor
I have "perused" every game store within a 200 mile radius for a Find the Layers board game. Nobody, has any idea what it is I'm talking about. No factor, the search continues.
